Vern Vennard Joins Randy Hulsey for 2025 Dates

We are excited to announce that Vern Vennard will be accompanying Randy Hulsey for the balance of his 2025 schedule. Vern will be stepping in for Randy’s regular partner (and former Beautiful Things member) Chris Hughes, who has decided to take the remainder of the year off for personal reasons.

For those who may not know, Randy is the host of the increasingly popular podcast Backstage Pass Radio, where he sits down with artists, musicians, and industry insiders to share candid stories from life on and off the stage. Zak Perry has been a guest on the show multiple times, and Vern even co-hosted the Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal episode, which is scheduled to drop on September 15. Although he wanted fans to know that his new temporary slot with Randy will not affect anything on the Beautiful Things calendar, he was also pretty excited about getting to help his buddies out. "I've known Chris and Randy for a good while now and I'm a big fan of the podcast, " he said "So when Randy contacted me about filling in for Chris, it was an easy answer once I made sure the schedules didn't conflict with the band."
